Trinidad James was born Nicholas Williams in Trinidad. His family moved to Canada when he was 5 and then to South Carolina where his father opened a car workshop named Joe’s Collision. His father and mother divorced and he and Nicholas moved to Atlanta where he was raised. Hostboy in Atlanta recorded music and asked Trinidad to hop on track with them. They did not see music anywhere so James decided to stop. In February 2012 he was arrested for a hard attack on someone he met at nightclubs.
After spending 2 months in prison, he realized that it was not the place for him. He wants to do something better to help care for his mother. So his house has pushed him to do his own music. They bought several beats online and recorded several demos. Beats posted free online from various independent manufacturers. After releasing all the gold everything and insecure with Mixtape, the original beat maker contacted James and thanked him for giving their music life. With only $ 1,000 James filmed all the music videos. This produces more than 4 million views on YouTube and the recording label comes tapping the door.
