Baltimore Ravens signed Ray Rice to a new five-year contract Monday worth around $ 40 million. In 2012 his salary was $ 17 million and in the 2013 season he would produce only $ 8 million. He finished the season with 254 carries 1,339 meters and 7 goals. On July 16, 2012, Rice was signed to a 5 years, $ 35 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens after the franchise was signed earlier in the offseason.
