Ramis joined the National Lampoon Show, which served as a career place for Bill Murray, John Belushi and Gilda Radner. His career breakthrough came in 1975 when he wrote and starred in the house of the National Lampoon Animal. The film followed the brotherhood group that challenged their school deans. With a budget of only $ 3 million, the film made more than $ 141 million at the box office. It became the second largest film in 1978 next to Grease.
