New England Patriots Tight End Aaron Hernandez has recently signed a five-year extension ending in 2018. He is set to get $ 4 million this year plus more than $ 8 million in 2014. There is also a $ 12.5 million signing bonus. Unfortunately the football star was released from Patriots after the police arrested him in June in connection with murder.
The 23-year-old child was born in Bristol, Connecticut. He attended the University of Florida and was drafted to the NFL during the 4th round of draft pick in 2010. On June 18, the entire football career fell. Hernandez became part of an investigation into the shooting of Odin Lloyd’s death. There were three warrants obtained that allowed officials to find at his home in Massachusetts.
On June 26, 2013 he was taken to police custody. Hernandez was taken as a suspect and was indicted by murder in addition to five accusations related to other weapons.
The prosecutor said they brought up the night of Lloyd’s death using video supervision which was destroyed from the area and cell phone records. Lloyd’s body was found June 17.
The prosecutor described the potential timeline Hernandez allegedly drove to Lloyd’s house, picked him up, making him return to North Attleborough, and allegedly fired two bullets at Lloyd, age 27.
