Want To Host An Epic Meeting? Meeting Venue Ideas That Inspire

Here is a word to think about; meeting. When someone says they have to go to a meeting, or they have to host one, what do you picture? For most people, it’s a boring, gray room, usually with death by PowerPoint presentation.

In 2025, people are (thankfully) moving away from this image, and in 2025, meetings are somewhat expected to be a bit more engaging. So, here, you will be given an idea about some meeting venues that, while unusual, will certainly get the attendees talking!

Rooftop Space

When looking into premium conference and meeting venues, fewer spaces are more inspiring and unusual than a rooftop space. You and the meeting attendees can enjoy the fresh air while overlooking the city and enjoying food and drink. An added bonus is that it creates a relaxing, casual vibe, which will help you and everyone attending the meeting relax. Of course, if you do have to showcase a PowerPoint presentation, it is best to bring along a laptop with clear specs.

Botanical Garden

If it’s summer, and there is one nearby that is accessible, why not try and hold a meeting in a botanical garden? This idea is almost the opposite of a dull, unappealing meeting room and offers the benefits of being in the open air, while also being surrounded by stunning plants. Depending on the botanical garden in question, there may be a conference center or meeting area set up in the botanical garden, which will make it a breeze to host the meeting, and then spend the rest of the day observing the array of plants that the garden has to offer.

Art Gallery

If you are truly stuck in the city but don’t want to book a boring office space for the meeting, why not try booking an art gallery? This will allow you and the meeting attendees to have a truly unique experience; being able to discuss business or product launches while being surrounded by global culture and stunning views. Much like the botanical garden, many art galleries have meeting spaces built in as standard, so you can hold the meeting and then take a tour of the gallery. That’s a great way to round off a meeting and build connections.

Bookstore

For smaller meetings, skip the art gallery and consider a bookstore. Why? Well, most bookstores in 2025 now offer coffee and pastries, and, if you need a space to collaborate with a smaller group of people, a bookstore is ideal. Plus, it will give you the chance to look at the newest releases, which is never a bad thing!

Manor House

Last, but certainly not least, if everyone attending the meeting has access to a car, it can be worth booking a manor house in the country for a meeting. This venue will have character and history, which will likely have the space needed for you to hold a meeting. Of course, due to the distance that may need to be covered by yourself and attendees, many people opt to book manor houses as part of hosting a weekend conference, but, there is nothing wrong with booking one for a long meeting with several people.
