Square Enix has just announced what might be a new “spin-off” controversial in the Final Fantasy franchise. But while Strange Final Fantasy Fantasy origin still has to get fans, there are a few arguments that the first six installments in the series do not need to prove themselves. However, they may need a little brush in graphics, or at least that seems to be said Square Enix in announcing a rather mysterious pixel remaster series for Final Fantasy 1 to 6.
Don’t worry if you are not a 3D remaster fan of 2D games because this doesn’t seem to be such a remaster. In fact, Square Enix did not say much another apart from what the name clearly implies. Or in his tweet words, the first six original games get pixel-perfect makeover.
The first six original final finals are considered as the golden age of the classic franchise. This is a Final Fantasy match into an exclusive playstation and before the franchise soared on a 3D music train. It is also a game that puts the foundation for many core mechanics and systems that almost have all the last fantasy matches for decades, from calls to the job class to a typical franchise chocobos.
Definitely want to know what this pixel remaster will really bring to the classic final fantasy experience. We had to wait for Square Enix to express the details later but, at least for now, which we know is that it will come to Steam and mobile platforms. And to be clear, each pixel remaster title will be sold separately, not as a bundle that “series” might suggest.
Maybe the most important question is what this remaster meanes for those who already have a copy of the game on the platform. The classic gaming history pieces are not at all cheap and it will be very disappointing but it doesn’t come out of the character for Square Enix to offer this as a separate title that you have to buy.
